More art than science, this method requires patience and good judgement. If you take off too much material, it'll complicate your life. So, take your time.

 

This is a piece of -uh this is one and a quarter PVC pipe with some sandpaper- some 220-grit sandpaper. What we're doing is, this bottom bracket is too tight, alright. this is 41mm and I'm using it right now. I can tell you this bottom bracket -this, this shell is too tight. Now this is more of an art than a science, but what we're trying to do is we're trying to remove the material evenly. We're not going to do this- okay, alright I'm going to try to all right we're trying to do this evenly like I said this is more art than science because obviously if you go too big that's a serious problem we don't want to do that all right and what we're gonna do is we're using we're using the bottom bracket as a gauge okay I'm seeing how it fits in there all right there you go I just need a little bit of dressing ready to go
